YESHUA, HOMELESSNESS, AND THE GLOBAL POOR

II-A. YESHUA, HOMELESSNESS, AND THE GLOBAL POOR

Yeshua declared:

“Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” (Matthew 8:20; Luke 9:58)

Key Insight:
Yeshua willingly embraced homelessness, choosing to dwell among the poorest, the marginalized, the outcasts of Israel, embodying Isaiah’s Suffering Servant and fulfilling GOD’s identification with the lowliest of humanity.

Furthermore, He admonished:

“Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” (Matthew 19:29)

Key Insight:
Those who forsake all for Him and the Kingdom, including embracing homelessness for His purposes, receive multiplied blessings in this age and the age to come.

The Global Reality of Homelessness and Poverty

Today, the extreme poverty and homelessness experienced in the United States, severe as it is, is part of a far greater global crisis:

✔️ The vast majority of the Earth’s population lives in poverty, homelessness, and informal dwelling conditions – slums, shacks, tents, boxes, vehicles, roadside camps, under bridges, and in refugee settlements.

✔️ They lack an effective, representative, championing “voice” for their plight and state of being.

These are the ones GOD chooses to identify Himself with, as Yeshua proclaimed in Matthew 25:

“Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me”
Implications for Project Elijah and EXODUS II

  • Project Elijah’s repentance and generational responsibility toward the Judaic people unlocks spiritual restoration.

  • EXODUS II’s mission to resolve homelessness fulfills Matthew 25’s command, honoring “the least of these” as direct service to Yeshua.

Together, they reveal that:

✔️ GOD’s judgment of the nations is based on how we treat the poor and marginalized, who are His chosen identification on earth.

✔️ This unified mission prepares humanity for the coming Kingdom, when “the meek shall inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5) and “the end shall come” (Matthew 24:14).

Placement Justification

This section bridges Project Elijah’s theological foundation with its global historical and prophetic significance, linking:

  • Generational repentance

  • Homelessness resolution activism

  • Yeshua’s Kingdom criteria and identification with the poor
