In thanking GOD, more individuals and entities are expressing keen interest in investing (financial or in-kind) in the ongoing, epic venture of the Compton Cricket Club (CCC) and its international “Sports for Human Civility” effort.
Particularly poignant is that for the first time in Olympic history, Cricket, the second-largest fan-based sport on earth, will be featured at the 2028 LA Olympics,i.e., T-20, a perverted version or “spin-off” of the Grand Ole’ Game center focused on batting expertise, in an effort to lure American’s whom are used to baseball, into the sport.
The CCC intends to take full exploitation of the matter, beginning presently.
This in mind, built on the foundation of the legendary Compton Homies & the POPz, the CCC’s bold, audacious, adventurous intent is now to field its new EXIBITION team, entitled “The Compton Quik,” on a 2 1/2-year promotional world tour, leading into the 2028 Olympics wherein its host various international teams in display how the whole game is played in the English Village style.
First to England during the summer of 2026, carrying the flags of the USA, UK, and the Olympics, this world tour is sponsored by various corporate and individual commercial interests, landing in the LA 2028 Olympics, which, over the pre-Olympic tour years, received massive local, national, and international news coverage, etc. A place where many people will want to be!
The Flags:
US Stars and Stripes, because the CCC Team is born and is based in America as the first all-American-borne, 14th Amendment, federalized citizens;
The United Kingdom (UK), because Cricket was born there in its villages; The Olympics, because Cricket will be featured in 2028.
For 2 1/2 years, the Compton Quik tours will promote the 2028 Olympics in their hometown of Los Angeles, i.e., the City of Compton.
For transparency, clarity of purpose and direction, being rooted and sprouted from the “earth” of America’s inner-city, urban “grass” experiences, i.e., Skid Row, LA, as the de facto “godfather” of the rebirthing and/or return of American-born Cricket, I, Ted Hayes, humbly request that I be indulged to make this basic appeal to all involved.
Please know and try to understand (as it is difficult), that naturally, there are a myriad of web-like, interconnected thoughts and intents of my heart (spirit), manifesting from Justiceville, Skid Row, through Dome Village, into the world of International Cricket, resulting from a strategic, forty-years (40), ultimate objective established and set in motion in 1985.
In My Interest: What I Envision
As America’s and perhaps the world’s foremost Human & Civil Rights activist, it’s my desire to bring civility on earth, even as admonished by the Holy Bible speaking “Glory in the Highest, Peace on earth, Goodwill toward human beings”.
Beginning in LA, the National Homelessness Capital and, comparatively, the world of circa 9 billion human beings on earth, primarily dwelling in overpopulated, dense urban-suburban centers and refugee camps.
Most of these global billions are oppressed by some form of slavery, including those of westernization, and generational poverty, the homeless being the most visible statement of such.
Societal and politically charged, governmental oppression by the 1% rulers tends to cause anti-social, even criminal behavior, including murder, all of which is based on the natural GOD-given instinct of self-preservation.
Also, the societal stresses of overpopulation, money-driven, high costs of living, taxes, etc., induce mental illnesses; addictive substance consumption, including illicit “street” narcotics or those prescribed by physicians to both physical and psychological ailments, all being multibillion-dollar industries.
Therefore, I‘m divinely obligated to exploit whatever tool and opportunity that my Heavenly Coach grants me, that I might seek out and eradicate the causes of such anti-human, anti-GOD behavior, and replace them with the Civility of loving GOD and subsequently being kind to our neighbors as to ourselves, as Yeshua commanded us of HIM-ABBA.
One of those divine tools is the old English bat-and-ball sport of Village Cricket, given its strong emphasis on the etiquette of life and mutual civility learned within the Oval of the game.
Therefore, this is why, upon being introduced to the Game, by and in cooperation with Katy Haber, including certain volunteers, as well my eldest son Thee, Justiceville began its coopting and exploitation of Cricket, by developing homeless men in Dome Village into America’s first All-American born, Cricket team in the US dubbed, “The LA Krickets”, since the mid-1920’s to travel abroad to England for exhibition Cricket.
The development of the LA Krickets, led to further civility expansion to the Compton Homies & the POPz, a team of teens and homeless med of Domevillage, plus Thee, then join by his younger brother my son Uriel, traveling twice to England and once to Australia, bearing the American Flag, can speaking the word of civility, “strait outta Compton”. Amazing legacy stuff!
Even playing a small but significant role in helping broker the completion of the stalled “1988 Good Friday Peace Accord” in Belfast, Northern Ireland, between the British government and the Irish Republican Army-Sinn Féin, in the generations-old squabble between Protestants and Roman Catholics.
This is peace that has not lasted 26 years.
Such is the power of what I’m dubbing “Sacred Cricket”, because its Civilizing etiquette is about human beings demonstrating loving-kindness to each other, even in the midst of high-intensity competition, such as in Cricket.
The game of Cricket is not just the physical play or dance within the Oval, but rather, the embracing of its civilizing elements and qualities.
While my persona, character, and activism are a bit known in certain spheres, globally, nationally, locally, i.e., LA, by many, only very few have met me, much less heard the various aspects in the basics of the “spiderweb”, of which Cricket is a significant component.
In contrast, far fewer actually know my intent and the elements that move me, but they have nonetheless supported me as best they are able.
As a late 1960s Civil Rights and black power activist, who for 8 eight years dwelled on sidewalks with the homeless, US citizen civilians, along with military veterans, over the 40 years of my activism (not counting my previous 18 years before Skid Row), I have always sought creative assets, resources, and opportunities to develop exploitative initiatives that resolve homelessness humanely.
Included in the many protests, demonstrations, and acts of civil disobedience arrests, as well as being controversial in the matters of immigration, legal and illegal, as something fatally affects my people, i.e., American African, US 14th Amendment, federalized citizens, chattel slave descendants, was always the presentation of a strategic national homeless plan.
In light of the powers that sports enterprises of all venues have over societies, it is apparent to me that unlike all other sports which have policies of “sportsmanship conduct, Cricket is the only one that has all the necessary elements for civilization building, centered around its’ etiquette based on the morals Justice and Righteousness, the foundational “mechanism” towards resolving homelessness and its societal causes.
When first introduced to Cricket in 1995, by Ms. Katy Haber, at the Dome Village, I quickly realized that it is a great “tool”, in so many ways, to bring resolution to homelessness, and instill life-saving civility to men, women, children, and babies, primarily of the urban centers, where most of the federalized citizens dwell.
America’s woeful, inner-city, urban centers, in which the situational conditions are the direct result of 405 years of unrequited injustices, particularly that of 245 years of generations-destroying chattel slavery and 99 years of Jim Crowism.
Hence, though ignorant of the matter, but out of a strong sense of the need for truth, in 2020 the world yelled at America, “Black Lives Matter,” a justifiable, clarion cry of Justice for America’s chattel slave descendants, especially its males, continues to resound in 2025 and into 2026, through 2027, into 2028 in the most significant ways.
In honor of the Compton Homies & the POZ, for this particular reason, the CCC enterprise is developing a new, but far more sophisticated team dubbed “The Compton Quik”, consisting of all American-borne, US federalized boys and men, as one such matter of black lives.
Heavenly ABBA placed my spirit and soul in the anatomy and character of a very special people reserved for such a time as present, to become a blessing to all the peoples of the earth, via the Faith that HE Promised Abba Abraham, ancient Hebrew from Ur of the Chaldeans (Babylon – land of Ham) in Genesis 12:1-3.
Through the “waters” and “fire”, including “ice”, by which the backs of our chattel enslaved ancestors, ironically, are now the foundation of everything America is, and will be, including all nations of the earth that have and continue to conduct business with the United States of America.
Therefore, like it or not, American Africans now bear the mantle as the only people who can save the Union and lead We the People to keep the Republic.
Voyaging into Crictet….has granted me an excellent “tool”, from the streets of Compton, ironically, uniquely and successfully, to address and resolve the matters of civil behavior in modern civilization and succeeding generations.
This is especially concerning “black” homelessness and the self-destructive behavior of American-African youths, particularly of boys, teens, and young men, murdering each other over perceived differences.
Therefore, based on the fundamental experiences of “The LA Krikets”, and “Homies & the POPz”, stemming straight outta Dome Village, the foundational participants must stay focused on the ultimate intent of our objective, and not be nullified by the vast amounts of financial revenue, and disillusionment of stardom, via the sport of Cricket, but rather remain sobber and focused about is as that “tool”!
This experience includes the pivotal moment in which the etiquette guidelines, philosophy, and wisdom of Cricket, “Strait outta Compton, significantly assisted in moving to implementation, the “1998 Good Friday Peace Accord” of Belfast, Northern Ireland, demonstrating the power of the Ole’ English game to instigate healing and reconciliation between warring factions.
This is the first time in the protracted Northern Ireland conflict between Roman Catholics and British Protestants that such peace has lasted this long. Now, this is Cricket at its finest.
The unprecedented Peace Process has now lasted twenty-five (25) years.
As the de facto, Progenitor, “godfather” and O.G. of the Rebirth of American Born Cricket, in appreciation, I intend to give proper respect and support to the English people, whose ancestors invented and gave us the most civilizing sport on earth, i.e., their Grand Ole’ Village Bat and Ball Sport of Cricket.

- When the time comes for organizational structure, positioning of office holding, contracts, financial distributions, and other related business matters of the Compton Cricket Club Enterprise under the auspices of Justiceville, 501 (c) (3), staying true to the moral vision and purpose, the following is my desire and intent:
- All investors join the Justiveville Board of Directors and hold positions, or at least serve on the Executive and Honorary Boards, to oversee their respective interests and assets via its Treasury apparatus.
- While it’s expected that everyone receives their just, financial due, “Muzzle not the ox that treads out the corn.” (Holy Bible), I, Ted Hayes, decline from such, i.e., no salary; however, whatever the Board of Directors deems just, that which would have been paid to me, is directed to my immediate family.
- Further, whatever is decided, I don’t want to know. It’s my intent and hope in Faith that my daily substance will be provided by those who see investment in me. Later, I will explain.
- As I have known Dale Zueles since 1995, as a friend, brother, supporter, CPA, etc., and saving benefactor of Justiceville 501-c3, having struggled through many difficult times, and is a dear friend of my family, with the great concern for Justiceville in mind, knowing from experience, as I lack the acumen, in everyone’s interest, he will manage all my and justiceville, CCC, related business discussions, transactions, etc.
