EXPERIENCE Not Skin Color, Nor Racial Characteristics
The citizenship of emancipated, British-American, Chattel Slaves, Freedmen, refugees et al was/is not based on race, minority or majority status, but rather experience when implementing the very special Constitutional mandated Civil Rights to the proper beneficiaries.
Ironically, to the detriment of the illegal alien populations seeking salvation for Hispanic/Latino ethnicity, the La Raza activist fatally blundered their movement when they followed the failed example of Jesse Jackson, the god-father of racial-money shakedown of American corporations, and foolishly made US Civil Rights an issue based on "Brown-Bronze" skin color.
The Radical Republican architects of the Triad Amendments (13th, 14th, 15th) granted the Emancipated Chattel Slaves such special Constitutional status like no other ethno-racial demographic in the United States was not due latter's skin-color or unique racial characteristics, but rather due the horrid experience by which they were brought into this "New Nation".
Hispanic/Latino-Mexican illegal aliens do not qualify for any of the Triad Amendments because their experience of crossing a nation's border illegally does not equate with that of the West African chattel slaves journey into America.
In fact, no Black African who comes to the United States as a willing immigrant does not have STANDING in this matter either. See STANDING
Color, Race, In The 14th Amendment and Civil Rights Act of 1866
It must be understood that when this special legislation was enacted in the 1860's, there was absolutely no thought for illegal aliens in it, nor Hispanic/Latino peoples, nor Mexicans or anyone else who did not have the unique experience that the "New Nation" fought a civil war about.
The people of subject were/are those who were chattel slaves and just so happen to be the unique skin-color and racial characteristics that we call Negro, Afro and African American, Colored People, even Niggras or Niggers as it stated in the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights of 1866.
In these Constitutional legislative documents are the terms, "of every race and color", "by reason of his color or race", " without distinction of race or color".
It is a fact, that the only "people of color" or those who were the opposite of "White citizens" i.e., Anglo and European immigrants were either Indians - Native folks (Red) and the West African slaves (Black), not Hispanic/Latino who are a White ethnicity, nor Mexican which is a nationality.
