“Occupied Wall Street”
A Proposal:
Operation Wall Street To Skid Row, LA
The Homeless Capital of To Complete
The Unfinished Business of the Declaration of (by Ted Hayes – A Cohesive
Element To Unite Us All Of all the varying ideas, agendas, issues and factions
being brought before “Wall Street” to give account of, all of them can
now agree that the homeless and descendants of slaves should be the
number one concern of our movement. Such strategy grants us the high moral ground, in that
we are more concerned about the moral rectitude of our nation than
squabbling over money.
The Narrative In the first year of the US Civil War, 150 years ago,
demoralized young Americans were trying to decide whether or not the
great bloodshed and expenditure of national treasure was about politics,
economics (money), and government protocol of States 10th Amendments
Rights verse Federal Oversight – Jurisdiction or the freeing of fellow
human beings and this New Nation from the scourge of slavery. Thank GOD these young American chose the later,
thereby President Abraham Lincoln set the New Nation on a course of
imperative, moral rectitude as long as it endures. Of the United States, Lincoln
says that a “a new nation,
conceived
in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition
that all men are created equal.”, and “Now we are engaged in a great
civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and
so dedicated,
can long endure.” Indeed, “Wall Street” i.e. Corporate-rich America, the
monetary system of the world, the object of our rebuke, was built by
European immigrants on the back of the peculiar institution of chattel
slavery as was the United States, its host country. In an attempt to honor the sacred Business Contract
made by the Founding Fathers with GOD in the Declaration of
Independence, this New Nation began a moral work that remains unfinished
to this day as it relates to the sons and daughters of slaves. The reason for this financial
upheaval and general civil unrest in According to the Declaration of Independence, enforced by US Constitution, as long as the slaves are hurting, the immigrants likewise will suffer even more so, because as the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. says, that the fate of our two peoples are as one conjoined twin. “…as
evidenced by their (Whites) presence here today, have come to realize
that their destiny is tied up with
our destiny
and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.”
Concomitantly, a generation ago, in light of the abuse of the sons and
daughters of the peoples on whom
He
prophesies, “Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and
will now be content will have
a rude
awakening if the nation returns to
business as usual. There will
be neither rest nor tranquility in The
whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake
the
foundations of our nation until the
bright day of justice emerges.” Well,
here we are!
The fate of this New Nation is suddenly
placed in the hands of young Americans in
Today, young Americans have the wonderful and unexpected opportunity to be the catalyst to finish what those young men and women under the inspiring leadership of Abraham Lincoln started 150 years ago by marching on behalf of the sons and daughters of slaves. As “Wall Street” is the direct
polar opposite and primary cause of homelessness, it poetic justice that
young people has laid siege to the Ironically, Shamefully, in this homeless
capital, Black men, sons of the slaves are 85% of the population, while
their sisters are next in numbers to be on the streets in downtown, Skid
Row, Ironically, while people
willingly left their homeland for Since their liberation from
chattel slavery on Today, the children of the slaves are between 17 and 18 % of the unemployment rate and climbing. Is such data concerning the descendants of American
slaves reveal them as shiftless and lazy, or is there a connection with
their experience of unwilling enslavement? The “Occupy Wall Street” movement
is now challenged to address the most significant issue of the Occupy “Wall Street” Los Angels is now poised to dramatically set to return this exceptional New Nation to finally manifest the American Creed by making the plight of the homeless, particularly as it relates to the descendants of slaves the number one agenda. The “Wall Street” brokers, the politicians and government officials are not expecting such an agenda from young White peoples, which is not about money and governmental protocol, right or left wing political competition, but rather moral priority under GOD to do justly. Homeless and
Slave Descendants and The Indigenous People To The Front of the “Bus” GOD Willing, in the event, that “Wall Street” should repent as is asking of it, according to the Constitution of the United States, of all the pains and frustrating situations of all Americans, triage must begin with those who are at gravest risk of loosing life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. From 1865 to the present, the freed slave class have been racially excluded from the freedoms of the “White citizens” of immigrants of the New Nation, and literally relegated to the “back of the bus”. It is now in the hand of immigrant children to live out the American Creed and finally fulfill that Promissory Note by figuratively bringing the slave descendants from the back to the front of the bus; from following the procession of justice to leading it. The Moral
Inspiration To Win In conclusion, there will come a time when the “occupiers” will become weary and disillusioned, as is the way of people, due to the daunting power of “Wall Street” and its’ governmental arm that they will soon encounter in its full and angry strength. However, in taking on the polar
opposite and ultimate manifestation of corrupt Wall Street”, the youths
of Money verses Morality As long as the primary dispute is about money, and personal loss of gainful employment for material happiness, our struggle with Wall Street is weakened because have wealth is a temporal relative issue, whereas, fighting for the homeless and descendants of slaves provides us the cloak of moral authority. Soldiers of
the Poor and Slaves Everywhere This sudden evolution in thought by the “occupiers” will throw Wall Street et al, back on their heals with no defense, because of the moral climate that our struggle now takes even catching the notice of the world, majority of which is destitute and homeless. As temporal money (who has it and who has it not and how they got it and lost it) is no longer is the primary focus of our struggles, but rather justice for all – the 99% of the world, we then own the high moral ground. The billions of poor and oppressed peoples world are
watching and waiting for us Americans, with all of our lofty ideals and
inspirational words of “life, liberty and pursuit of happiness” to lead
them to the Promised Land of Justice! |
