The Triage Principle

(Drafted 11/2011)

The Rally For The Homeless, The Sons & Daughters of the Slaves, and The Indigenous Peoples

The myriad social strata interests of political right, left and middle are respectively correctly castigating the greed of Wall Street money barons and government officials for corruption.

Concomitantly, these interests are vociferously and passionately demanding immediate justice and assistance from the two ruling establishments, causing “traffic jams” or paralyzing any organized-coordinated effort to meet them.

They Repent!

Hypothetically, by force of the people or even some Divinely miraculous intervention, should Wall Street and the government find “religion” (a turn of heart) to earnestly seek to equitably meet the needs of all concerned crying their legitimate interests.  The question is: What individual or group of sufferers should be addressed first?

Triage

By the applied principle of emergency triage, the “log jam” of the needs can be categorically cared for accordingly.

Example: In coming upon an auto accident, one finds that there are people strewn about with various complaints of injuries.

One is simply in a state of shock, another is complaining about a cut hand, as another is crying loudly due to a broken leg, and another is lying still not breathing, but one is lying on the ground with blood rapidly spurting from the neck.  According to triage, which of the accident victims is be treated first?

So it is with the Homeless, The Sons & Daughters of the Slaves, The Indigenous Peoples, are the most vital to the interests of all others to survive.

Concomitantly, this New Nation was built upon the backs of chattel slaves in the land that was taken from Indigenous peoples most of whom were systematically genocide.

Along with the Indigenous Peoples, the body of evidence reveals that while being only 12% of the US population, over 60% of Sons & Daughters of the Slaves are homeless, as well, they lead the nations ethnicities and minorities in nearly every negative social statistics.

This report is not an indication that the Sons & Daughters were “no-good” and worthless, etc, but rather an indictment of their foundation in slavery and not in the freedom to the Pilgrims, indentured servants and subsequent willing immigrants.

The Immigrant-Slave Factor

In a world of 6 ˝ of the 7 billion Homeless and destitute poor of the earth, the 0% that are ignored, of the poor in the United States there are two separate experiences, they being that of the willing immigrants (including indentured servants primarily European) and the unwilling-immigrants, i.e., chattel slaves from West and Central Africa.

The immigrants sought and seek America embedding in their psyche (souls-emotions, intellect, spirit) for generations to come the American Dream.

Whereas, the slaves had no such ambition, but rather buried deep within their DNA was a dreaming and yearning for the past days of home.

Due to their ancient entry experience into the British-American colonies, the Slaves did not have an American Dream in their and still don’t today, because given our individual spurts of prowess in various public and private arenas of America, we would be far a field of ethno-racial entities.

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. says in his “I Have A Dream” Speech, “…it is dream deeply rooted IN the American Dream”; not “I have the/or an American Dream”

The immigrants came to these shores on the “Mayflower”, whereas the slaves came in the hull of ships locked in chains and shackles.

Poor immigrants are in poverty they failed to achieve their version of the American Dream, whereas the Sons and Daughters of the Slaves are destitute as result of their chattel enslavement.

From the day of their adoption into the Jurisdiction of the United States, the Slaves and their descendants have never stood and equitable opportunity afforded to willing immigrants and theirs.

Evidently, the 14th, and 15th Amendment and the 1866 Civil Rights Act was enacted not due to skin color or racial characteristics, nor minority-majority status, but rather the unique experience by which they were brought into the United States, which is completely opposite of the willing immigrants – documented or undocumented.

The Indigenous Peoples, neither immigrant nor slave were made homeless within their own home and most genocide by immigrants, many of whom from the birth of the New Nation have been and are now the rulers of Wall Street and government.

When the immigrant has a cold, the slave gets pneumonia.  When the immigrant is in recession, the slave is in depression.  Though all “boats” sink with the lowering water levels of the economy, when it rises again, all immigrant vessels are lifted, but those of the slaves remain at the low level.

It is imperative that America and the world reverse this policy of trickle down economy to one of rust up from the bottom beginning with New Nations’ Homeless, Sons & Daughters of the Slaves and the Indigenous Peoples.

Morally and Correctly, the triage begins here the “Ground 0” of the New Nation.

Ms. Liberty say, “…send these, the homeless, the tempest tossed to me.”  Now is the time to turn the Lady of Liberty around to face the nation.
